Sarah Jessen - Trumpet
Sarah Jessen is a Chicago based freelancer. Over her career, she has performed as a substitute musician with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, and the Louisiana Philharmonic. Sarah is a guest artist with Seraph Brass, a premier brass quintet with whom she has toured across the United States. Sarah performed as the second trumpet in the Artosphere Orchestra at the Walton Arts Center under Corrado Rovaris in both 2023 and 2022. Sarah received her bachelors degree at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. She attended the Tanglewood Music Center in 2021 and 2022, where she worked with members of the Boston Symphony to further develop her orchestral playing. When not playing trumpet, Sarah can be found painting or drawing as she is a prolific visual artist.”
